I am hosting a spa day at my home. I am looking for suggestions as to any other activity to include?

I have already set up massages, parrafin dip manicures, facials, hair styling, and a craft project. I am looking for anything else group like or anything that would fit in with the days activities.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated too. Any food ideas (specific) or any great unique decorations or such.

This is a one day event for me and my girlfriends. We do not have any spas in the area and I thought this would be a great way to have a girly day close to home and save alot of money.

Any ideas, suggestions, or comments would be appreciated.
I do have a large hot tub. Is that something that I should open and offer for usage? I didn't know if that would be okay with the theme of the day.

Use a watermelon cut and scooped out as a bowl for fruit salad.

Spinach Dip is healthy and tasty. I use the Knorr's spinach soup recipe, use mayonaise and a lowfat sourcream, use a focaccia bread as a bowl by tearing the middle out and surround it with italian bread for dipping.

Try one of the new age cds for background music, low lighting and either incense or potpourri to add to the feel.

I love my spa and those are things that they make available at all times. They also have a variety of herbal teas.

Sunrise Mimosa

1 1/2 cup chilled cranberry juice
2 cups chilled Asti Spumanti or other sparkling wine
1 orange, cut into slices

Directions:

In a large pitcher, combine the orange and cranberry juices; mix well. Pour evenly into champagne or wineglasses. Add Asti Spumanti to each glass and garnish with the orange slices. Serve immediately.

I my self am into that kind of stuff. I love to cook!!! You could try serving appetizers while you and your friends are waiting for other friendsto come. I love this recipie!!! Get a packet of ritz or rits and a slice of cheese. Fold the slice of cheese into 4 pieces. Put a slice of cheese on a cracker and put another cracker on top.( Each slice of cheese equals 4 sandwitches) Hope you enjoy!

first of all, I think your idea is great! I would really like to be one of your friends on that day ;)
seriously, I think that could be a great pleasure to just soak your body in nice treatments, warm your soul with nice smells, etc. it is also really relaxing, 'cause you will all be familiar with each other. and you can chat openly and talk about anything at all.
If I were you, I would decorate space with a lot of nice flowers, maybe some candles, maybe some of them scent candles, to make a kind of aromatherapy. I would find some nice relaxing music. Also, I would make sure to have enough tea (grean, red, or whatever you like) and hot chocolate or something like that. I would make nice fruit salad, and maybe some vegetable or light tuna salad also, bare in mind that healthy snacks are the best chice for spa day.
I would also try to put all the spa items around, as a part of scenery (nail polishes, cremes, towels, massage oils, cumbs, everything that would make you feel like you're in a spa.

I don't know, I just adore your idea! I love spa treatments! have great time:)

Goodness gracious baby girl 'spa' means water. Of course you use it. Make it a point to offer it to all of your guests and make sure that no one does more than 15 minutes to avoid issues.
